We are therefore leaving Stykkishólmur to reach the westernmost tip of Iceland at Látrabjarg. As the crow flies, a hundred kilometers are enough to cross Breiðafjörður bay, but by car... 350 km! But what landscapes, as we enter the Vestfirðir region where fjords reign supreme.

As for mammals, sheep and horses are often seen in Iceland. As for birds, it's whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus)!
