Here we are at Látrabjarg, or more precisely at Bjargtangar, the westernmost point of Iceland. It is considered the westernmost point of Europe, with the exception of the Azores archipelago. It is also the westernmost point of the UTC +0 time zone. (© Wikipedia)

As soon as we arrived at the top of the cliff, a puffin appeared. Let's enjoy our luck because they will be rare today!
The Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica), also known as the "sea parrot", is a species of North Atlantic pelagic seabird that lives in the open sea, except during its reproduction when it is forced to return to land where it nests on grassy slopes, islands or on cliffs (insular or continental). The scientific name of the species, Fratercula arctica, means "little brother of the Arctic". It is the symbol of the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds).
