Argentina 2009

Welcome to the Argentina page! With luggage and camera, four of us set off to discover this gigantic South American country  . Most of our visits will be by rental car, but since we decided to cross the entire country (3500 km from south to north!), a plane will be necessary to reduce the immense distances between our different stages. We will even add two overnight "cama" (sleeper) bus trips.

The first stage will begin with the end of the world... At least that's what the city of Ushuaia tells us! Not just any city can be the southernmost! From this end of the world, we will escape and thus travel up all of Argentina to the Brazilian border at Iguazu Falls.

If Vietnam had disoriented me with its inhabitants and culture, Argentina captivated me with its very varied fauna: Sea lions and elephant seals, whales, penguins, rheas, llamas, guanacos, hummingbirds, toucans, armadillos, coatis and even a caiman...
A true feeling of being immersed in the animal books of my childhood!
