NEW YORK

That's it, the last day has arrived... Our feet are exhausted but we still don't want to leave this magnificent country and we intend to enjoy it to the end...

We therefore start the day with Liberty Island to finish it in the evening at the top of the Empire State Building.

LIBERTY ISLAND

The Statue of Liberty is a gift from France to the United States.
The architect Auguste Bartholdi designed and led the construction of the statue. Gustave Eiffel, for his part, took care of the iron structure that holds it all together.

Ground Zero. The work on the tower that will replace the Twin Towers has barely begun.
All around, on the gates, panels resume the course of events.

The gravity of the place does not prevent Americans from expressing themselves, thus a "no love for Bush" manifested discreetly.
