Pronghorn: The Pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is a slender, small Ungulate of the order ARTIODACTYLA. It is the last survivor of the Antilocapridae, a family of ruminants in America once abundant and diverse. Contrary to what its name suggests, it is not a true ANTELOPE. It is considered the fastest animal in North America with a maximum recorded speed of 86.5 km/h.
