And here began my ordeal!!!
The accumulation of the last 3 days plus all my omelets still stuck in my stomach (plus my pitiful physical condition naturally) made the climb of this mountain endless! Every 3 steps, my body told me: "haaa I can't take it anymore!!!"........
Well anyway, since my nice comrades were waiting for me, and my honor was at stake, with strength and courage I undertook to climb all these insurmountable obstacles standing before me like dragons roaring with all their flames and... and... huh? what what??? woah, I'm getting carried away here!!!
uh well, anyway you understood, it was hard hard for me!
And I won't say that for almost everyone else it was super easy, no I won't say it...
Here are those for whom all this was just a piece of cake!
The local guide. Without him we couldn't have gotten that far...
All along the way, we will meet Vietnamese returning from the market located on the other side of the mountain. They have on their backs, ducklings, pigs and other food. And all this in sandals and without appearing to get tired! Phew!!!
Ban Ba
Ban Ton
End of the journey at the village of Ban Ton.
Danielle takes the opportunity to patch up her husband Yves assisted by the village children. He is ready for Survivor and Amazing Race!!!
The electricity is not working tonight, so the lady of the house brought out the candles. It was the little romantic touch of the trip!
It's the last evening of the trek so we can let go!
It's a good thing rice alcohol is served profusely tonight!
Mr. Mayor even came to greet us and toast with us!
