Vietnam 2008

Xin chào! Welcome to the Vietnam page! And yes, this is where I did my first trek!!! Even if it was difficult at times, it allowed me to be at the heart of authentic Vietnam. This 4-day trek took place in the north in the mountainous region of Mai Chau. We stayed with locals in their bamboo house with spring rolls, rice, soups and rice alcohol provided!!!!  

Fortunately, the rest of the trip was much calmer (phew!). Some pagodas and Buddhist temples in the cities of Hue and Hoi An, 24 hours of navigation in Halong Bay, as well as the big cities of Saigon and the capital Hanoi. Oh yes, I forgot... many photos on this trip, I broke my record with 3000 photos (I assure you I didn't put them all!). So I hope my 12 other travel companions won't get indigestion from images like I did from omelets during the trek (hehehe)...
