8:30 am and hop a new day begins, direction Cuc Phuong park.

The route to reach the mini-bus:

We pass in front of this school where "teacher's day" is celebrated!

These red and blue decorations, as well as these stones are in fact tombs. According to certain local customs, Vietnamese can leave their deceased anywhere in nature. After a few years, the bodies are taken back to be put in cemeteries.

We pick up the mini-bus at Lung Van. No more long walks!

Small stop to eat (on a real table!)

These red fruits with white flesh with black grains are "dragon fruits".

The monkey rescue center in Cuc Phuong Park. Some of these monkeys saved here (gibbons and langurs) are the last representatives of their species.

We continue our route further into the park.
Cuc Phuong is a nature reserve and is Vietnam's first national park. Alas, we won't see much of it...

We will eat and sleep at the hotel located at the entrance of the park.
