Nepal, here we come! 5 years ago we (Christophe, Christelle and I) were already on the Indian subcontinent, and we had a taste of Nepal with our 4-day mini-trek in Sikkim. This time, it's not 4 days but 4 weeks that we will spend in the Himalayan range! And how better to enjoy the highest peaks on the planet than by walking there for 15 days.
This first experience of such a long and high trek had to be done gently. That's why we chose not to go alone but with a local guide and 2 porters. So it's Narayan, accompanied by Man Bahadur and Subash, who will guide us during these 2 weeks, with the highlight being the crossing of the Thorong La pass located at 5416 meters above sea level!
The rest of our journey will take us to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, then the Chitwan National Park where we can observe rhinos and elephants. Finally, we will finish with the Kathmandu Valley and its UNESCO World Heritage sites!
