India 2012

Welcome to my India page! From a trek in the Himalayas to the majestic Taj Mahal, the change of scenery was complete.

Two trips in one, the first week will take us to the heights of the Sikkim province where we will "trek" for four days in the Himalayan range between India and Nepal. This will be followed by three weeks that we will call "cultural" as they consist of visits to temples, palaces, and other fortresses. Suffice to say that the two regions don't have much in common, but that's the whole pleasure when visiting such a large country! Second largest population in the world after China in 2012 and seventh in terms of surface area, it will take us much more than one trip to explore all its richness...

The itinerary will be limited to the northern part of the country.
