Strolling day in Yogyakarta where we have been staying for 3 days.

On the program, visit of Taman Sari (former Sultan's pavilion) and the bird market...

Here is the hotel street in 360°.

A wall surrounds the Taman Sari residence.

The Taman Sari or water castle was one of the Sultan's outbuildings where he could come to relax with his wife and concubines and enjoy his private pools...

We leave Taman Sari and continue to stroll in Yogya (the nickname of Yogyakarta).

We negotiate a cheap "becak" to get to the bird market. These 3-wheeled rickshaws abound in the streets of Yogya, they make tourists and locals happy!... for those who are not afraid of grazing a motor vehicle...

In the evening, at the hotel, the small local geckos keep us company quietly.

It's our last night in Yogyakarta, tomorrow morning we leave heading east towards Bromo and Kawah Ijen volcanoes!
